Travel from the northernmost tip of the island of Newfoundland to the most easterly point in North America. Journey to one of the best grizzly bear viewing experiences in the world. Knight Inlet, the traditional territory of the Da’ naxda’ xw Awaetlala First Nation, is home to an abundance of wildlife including grizzly bears, killer whales, humpback whales, porpoises, dolphins, salmon, seals and sea lions.

The floating Knight Inlet Lodge - where you'll enjoy a 2-night stay - is tucked into one of the most magnificent natural settings in the world, surrounded by ancient forests and snow-capped mountains. In Spring and Summer, grizzlies can be seen on the banks of Glendale Cove feeding on sedge grasses, berries and shellfish. The returning salmon in the fall mean the bears can be seen feeding in large numbers from the specially constructed viewing platform.
